Cozy Backyard Spring Wedding in Bradenton | Gina & Robbie

It’s been several weeks since this gorgeous backyard wedding in Bradenton, and I still can’t find the proper words to articulate exactly how it felt. The whole day just felt like a warm hug from someone you haven’t seen in years. It reminded me of days spent running around barefoot as a child, and napping in the shade on a long summer day. Overall just a very cozy and sentimental day.
Every moment felt very personal and planned with intention. It was a day where I felt like Gina & Robbie both really could just live in the moment without it feeling forced or feeding into “must-have” wedding trends. This was a day very clearly centered on family in the sweetest and warmest possible way. Their decor was either thrifted or borrowed from family. The flowers were locally sourced from a nearby farm. The ceremony and reception were held in their parents backyard. It was all tied together in such a sweet way.
These two had their first dance to “Spring Wind” by Greg Brown performed by their fathers. If you’re into songs with touching lyrics, go give it a listen. I can’t help but get tears in my eyes every time I hear it because I think of all the tender moments throughout this precious day.
